November TBR

Monday, 2 November 2015
Oh November please be kind to me....once again October was another unsuccessful month where reading was concerned for me. I only managed to get through one measly book when on average I used to read 2/3 books a week. To get me back into the swing of things I've choose 4 books from my TBR shelf that have been catching my eye for a while now!
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
I actually feel really embarrassed to admit this as a book lover but I've never actually read the Harry Potter series. Blasphemy I know. I've watched all the films but as a kid the books never interested me so last month I picked up the first four books in the series with the intention of starting them.
The Raven Boys
I've heard a lot about this book on 'booktube', everyone seems to rave about it and as a huge Maggie Stiefvater fan I can't wait to get stuck into it!
Queen of Shadows
I received this 8 weeks ago in the post when it was first released but I'm really struggling to get into it! I've loved all the books in this series as well as Maas' other book 'A Court of Thorns & Roses' but at 150 pages in it's just not catching my interest. It's at the top of my TBR pile this month!
The Wolf Wilder
I picked this up in my local Waterstones last month with some vouchers I had left over. The cover caught my eye initially and when I looked at the blurb I couldn't resist, Russia and Wolves, two of my favourite things! It's based around a young girl named Feodora who lives in the Woods of Russia with her mother teaching the wolves to fend for themselves and to be weary of humans. When the Russian army threatens her very existence she goes on the run, a story about revolution and standing up for what you believe in!

  3. I'm also thinking it's time to give Harry Potter a try! I could never get further than the first 10 pages when I was a kid! Good luck with your reading list!
