One of my favourite things to do at this time of the year is to curl up on the sofa and watch Christmas films with family & friends. Here's my top 3 christmas movies...

1. The Muppets Christmas Carol (1992)
For me this will always be my favourite christmas film. It stems back from happy memories at primary school where it was the christmas film we always watched on the last day before we broke up. It follows Dickens original story closely but has a comedic twist on it with songs throughout. Can't help but cry at Tiny Tim, every time. My boyfriend is a total scrooge and this is the only Christmas film he'll watch so it's always nice to sit down and watch it together also.
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
From the age of 9-14 I was a 'goth' and as most I was obsessed with The Nightmare Before Christmas. It all started when I was around the age of 4 and my cousin gave it to me on video and my mum said I used to sit there and watch it on repeat for hours, knowing the script word for word. I still love it now and always make sure I watch it on both halloween and christmas eve. With plenty of merch and soft toys from the film around the house I'm always managing to give my boyfriend the creeps...
3. Love Actually
10 love stories rolled into one film, the ultimate sap fest? I think so! One of them films I can always pop on and enjoy, regardless of the time of the year. The incredible all star cast make it impossible to get bored!

What's your favourite Christmas films?

  1. Love Actually and Nightmare Before Christmas definitely make my list too! I'm not a massive fan of Elf which seems to be a huge favourite. x
