10 Things To Do When You're Having A Bad Day

Sometimes life is just shit and there really isn't much you can do about it, we all have them days when we feel really down. As for myself I get them for no reason at all and I'll just wake up feeling really sad. Here I've complied a list of failsafe things to do to cheer you up and remind you life really is wonderful! 

1. Cuddle a furry friend there really isn't anything more comforting for me than having a cuddle with my cat, there is actually studies out there showing the benefits of a cats purring and the reduction of cardiovascular disease unbelievably.
2. Watch you favourite TV series for me popping on SATC or Friends will always put me in a good mood, they just instantly take me to a happy place. I guess youtube will also come under this category, Zoella's vlogs always make me feel comforted. 
3. Have a chat with your friends no matter what's up I can always turn to the girls group chat and someone will be there to chat back and make me feel better.
4. Have a pamper run yourself a good bubble bath, paint your toes and put on a face mask. Instant pick me up. 
5. Go for a walk it always helps to clear my head. 
6. Read a book for me getting lost in another world works brilliantly at distracting me from my own, as big a sci-fi/fantasy reader I always find they're the best genre. 
7. Have a shed load of chocolate something to do with endorphins? Really I just have it cause it tastes amazing and makes me feel better.
8. Funny videos get yourself on YouTube, my personal (slightly harsh) favourites are montages of people falling over. Also, the buzzfeed LOL section is pretty good. 
9. Have a cuddle really what's better than a good cuddle?
10. Have a good old cry sometimes there's nothing else to do other than just let it all out.

  3. This is such a great post, I can have the most shittiest of days and all I want to do is stay in bed, I try to give my cat cuddles but she really hates them, doesn't stop me though!
