Queen of Shadows
And another month has flow in, I swear it feels like New Years was only like 2 weeks ago?! February has been good to me, I passed my 2nd year acute care exam and I've spent lots of time with my friends. As for March it's bringing the start of my new placement on the Intensive Care Unit which I'm ridiculously excited about. Here's a round up of my favourites this month.

Queen of Shadows
This month my book favourite has been Queen of Shadows, the 4th book in the Throne of Glass series. This book landed on my door step back in September and I've really struggled to get into it, earlier on this month I picked it up again and flew through the last 3 quarters of it after finding the start frustratingly slow. As a huge fantasy fan this is right up my street. In a nutshell, a badass assassin with lots of romance and plots in there. Anyone read the series? All I can say is Rowan *inserts heart face emoji*
FarmVille
Rise of The Tomb Raider
Rise of The Tomb Raider & FarmVille
If you follow me on Twitter you'll know how obsessed I've been with these two other the past month. FarmVille is one of them games I only really play on whilst I'm back at uni to pass them long breaks but I've become addicted this time round, I'm always checking my farm and Iain even asks me in the morning what I've managed to catch from my pond on it haha!
I used to seriously love Tomb Raider when I was younger and had been eyeing up the new release for a while before my dad bought it for me. As usual it's your typical puzzle solving but Lara has advanced a lot as a character and her combat skills are incredible now. Side note - there seems to be a theme of bad ass females in this favourites post.

Naked Basics Palette
I forgot how handy this little beauty is, it's so easy to pop into your everyday makeup bag and it has basically every colour you'll need in it (mind the pun). 5 matte finish and 1 satin, you can achieve a basic everyday smokey eye in minutes.
