Flexitol Heel Balm & Heel Magic Review

Sunday, 7 February 2016
With Spring just around the corner it's time to start thinking about getting your feet sandal ready. My heels are really quite dry and cracked at the moment, the cold air and then running round for 13 hour shifts has wreaked havoc on my tootsies. When the people at Flexitol got in touch with me asking if I'd like to try out some of their products* I snapped up the chance!
Flexitol sent me their heel balm which is a highly concentrated moisturising balm working to rehydrate the heels. The magic ingredient is the 25% Urea, the heel balm works by enhancing the water binding capacity of the outer layer of skin. When I received the products it says on the website & packaging that they're also suitable for diabetics, with my mam being a diabetic I thought I'd try it out on her feet as well. As a student nurse I've seen so many cases of diabetic ulcers and even amputations due to poor foot care in diabetes.
I tried the products over a two week period and results are apparently visible within the first three days, for myself it took about a week for noticeable improvements but with my mam we definitely noticed within the first 3 days. The heel balm itself is really thick and the smell isn't totally pleasant but when you're getting results like this you don't mind!
The second product I was using alongside the heel balm was the heel magic, again claiming results within the first 3 days. This works to keep the heel skin smooth, silky, smooth and intensely nourished. The heel magic comes in a stick like form and it reminds me of a giant pritt stick! I do prefer this product as it's a lot less messier and I'm not left with product all over my hands.
After 2 weeks of using these both AM & PM the improvement is dramatic! Our feet are a lot softer, dry skin has majorly improved and the cracks in my mam's heels are practically healed. I'll insert some pictures before and after pictures below so if you're rather squirmy you're pre-warned!

  1. I've been using Flexitol for about 2 years and is definitely best foot cream I've tried.
Only negative is that it's hard to get outside UK.
